That's one of the ways StudentSoar stays free. Here's how we keep it from affecting what you see.
Our rules
- We list every legitimate student deal we can find, whether or not it earns us anything. Many of the deals on StudentSoar earn us nothing at all.
- Commissions don't decide rankings. Deals are ordered by what's useful to students, not by what pays us.
- Paid placements are always labeled. If a brand ever pays to feature a deal, it's marked “Sponsored,” and it never outranks a better deal in our main lists.
- No fake urgency, no invented discounts. If a deal has a real end date, we show it. We don't make up countdowns or inflate savings.
- We never sell your personal information to brands or anyone else. See our privacy policy.
How affiliate links work
When you click “Get this deal,” you go through a StudentSoar link to the brand's site. For brands with an affiliate program, that link lets the brand (or an affiliate network acting for it) know the visit came from us, usually with a cookie on their site. If you then sign up or buy, they may pay us a commission. You pay the same price either way.
