StudentSoar (“we,” “us”) is operated by AB Echelon, LLC, a Delaware limited liability company. This policy explains what we collect when you use studentsoar.com, why, and the choices you have. The short version: we collect only what we need to run the site, we don't use third-party ad trackers, and we never sell your personal information.

What we collect

When you browse (with or without an account)

When you contact us

If you email us, we keep the conversation so we can respond and follow up.

Cookies

We use a small number of our own cookies. We don't use advertising cookies or third-party analytics cookies.

We also keep one temporary flag in your browser's session storage (ss_landed). It's cleared when you close the tab, and it lets us record where you came from only once per visit.

When you click through to claim a deal, you leave StudentSoar. The brand's site, or an affiliate network handling the link, may set its own cookies under its own privacy policy.

How we use it

Who we share it with

We share personal information only with service providers that help us run the site:

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect people's safety, or as part of a merger, sale, or reorganization of the business (in which case this policy would continue to apply to your information).

We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it with advertisers or data brokers. If a brand ever wants to reach verified students, we send the offer ourselves. Brands never get your details.

How long we keep it

We keep account information while your account exists. Usage records are kept as long as they're useful for understanding how the site is used. If you delete your account, we delete your profile; any remaining usage records are no longer linked to you.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live (for example, California, the UK, or the EU), you may have additional rights, such as receiving a copy of your data. Email us to use them; we won't treat you differently for doing so.

Security

We protect your information with industry-standard measures: encrypted connections, sign-in links that work once and expire, and minimal data collection. No system is perfectly secure, so if you ever suspect a problem with your account, tell us.

Children

StudentSoar is meant for college students and isn't directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we'll delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. For significant changes, we'll give account holders notice before they take effect.
