The details
Florida's main need-based grant, in three parts: FSAG Public (state universities and Florida College System institutions, 6+ credit hours), FSAG Private (eligible private nonprofit 4-year colleges, 12+ credit hours), and FSAG Postsecondary (other eligible degree-granting private colleges and FAA-certified aviation maintenance schools, 12+ credit hours or 360 clock hours). The college decides eligibility and the amount; the annual minimum is $200 and the maximum is set in each year's General Appropriations Act (OSFA reported $3,260 for 2024-25 and 2025-26). Summer awards possible if funds allow. Talented Twenty students (top 20% of their Florida public high school class) get priority FSAG funding.
