The details
Need-based component of Louisiana's aid plan for nontraditional and low- to moderate-income students. Each college gets a GO Grant allocation and awards it under its own packaging policy, so amounts vary by school and year; LOSFA lists a $300 minimum and $3,000 maximum annual award for the current academic year. No summer awards. Renewable up to a lifetime maximum matching the Federal Pell Grant's, as long as you file the FAFSA each year, keep receiving Pell and still have remaining need. The Legislature approved $70,480,716 for 2025-26 GO Grant awards.
