The details

Scholarships run through participating colleges with NSF grants. Each scholar gets tuition and mandatory education-related fees (not meal plans, housing, or parking), an academic-year stipend of $27,000 (undergraduate) or $37,000 (graduate), and a $6,000-a-year professional allowance (job fairs, travel, books, a one-time laptop, certifications). Up to three years of support. Afterward you must work in a cybersecurity or AI role for a federal, state, local, tribal, or territorial government organization (or an approved FFRDC) for as long as the scholarship lasted. If you don't, you repay it or it converts to a loan. Merit-based, not need-based.
