The details
ND has no dental, optometry or veterinary school, so it pays support fees to WICHE PSEP schools (optometry, dentistry, veterinary medicine) and through contracts with the University of Minnesota (dentistry, veterinary medicine), Kansas State and Iowa State (veterinary medicine). The award equals the WICHE support fee; at Minnesota it follows a set formula; at Iowa State and Kansas State it is roughly the gap between resident and nonresident tuition. Students pay the rest. Renewable up to four years with continuous enrollment, academic standing and continued ND residency, subject to legislative funding. Priority goes to new first-year applicants.
