The details
State-funded stipend for student teachers approved by one of Oklahoma's educator preparation providers (EPPs). The first payment ($1,625) is distributed by OSRHE during the student teaching semester; the second ($1,625) goes through the Oklahoma accredited public school district that hires the student teacher, after the EPP verifies completion and the district verifies employment (within one year of finishing student teaching). Student teachers placed out of state can get the first payment; only students in Oklahoma EPPs are eligible; private school employment doesn't qualify for the second payment.
