The details
State-funded under A.R.S. 26-179 to 26-181 (reimbursement is subject to appropriation and may not exceed in-state tuition and fees at a state university or the amount actually spent). Covers undergraduate or graduate courses at a university, credit courses at a community college, vocational/technical certificates or VA-approved correspondence courses at recognized schools. A member's $5,250 annual cap is shared with any spouse/dependents who use it. The member must have completed IADT/technical training, keep at least 90% drill and annual-training attendance, have no active flags, and serve at least 12 months after the course ends (pro-rated recoupment otherwise). Students need a C or better in each course. Paid after the STR Board/Adjutant General approves; non-selected applicants are notified.
