The details
Created in 2023 to work alongside the Guard tuition exemption (STEP): STEP covers tuition, then the Patriot Scholarship pays the mandatory fees on your fee bill, as funds are appropriated. Usable for up to 12 semesters or 16 quarters (summer/intersession counts), toward an undergraduate degree or credential; it ends when you earn a bachelor's degree with it. Lost while on academic probation or flagged by your unit commander, regained when fixed.
