The details

Campus-based program at about 40 participating NJ colleges and universities (public research, state, community and independent). EOF provides supplemental financial aid for costs TAG doesn't cover (books, fees, room and board) plus counseling, tutoring and developmental coursework. Undergraduate grants range from $200 to $3,050 a year depending on the type of institution and need; renewable with continued eligibility. Each campus runs its own EOF admission and selection and spaces are limited. Gross income and assets must be within the EOF scale, e.g. 2026-27: household of 1 up to $31,300 income / $6,260 assets; household of 4 up to $64,300 / $12,860 (add $11,000 / $2,200 per extra member). 2027-28 scale: household of 1 $31,920 / $6,384; household of 4 $66,000 / $13,200 (add $11,360 / $2,272). Part-time EOF students can receive part-time awards (NASSGAP's Part-Time TAG/EOF line).
