The details
For students in career programs at least 10 weeks but less than 2 academic years long in four high-demand areas: energy; health; advanced materials and diversified manufacturing; agriculture and food production. Award = the lesser of the maximum (currently $6,000) or unmet need after Pell, other gift aid and employer aid; costs counted include tuition, fees, books, supplies, required equipment and a $4,000 living-expense allowance. Honorably discharged veterans can receive the maximum or 100% of program costs, whichever is less. Returning students with remaining eligibility are renewed automatically (a new application is needed if you change schools). Students with a bachelor's or graduate degree can still apply. You cannot also get a PA State Grant for the same program.
