The details
For Wyoming residents aged 24 or older with unmet financial need. Up to $150 per credit hour and $1,800 per term at 12+ credits, prorated for part-time enrollment; up to the equivalent of four full-time terms or $7,200 in total. Usable at the University of Wyoming or any of Wyoming's eight community colleges for a degree or certificate (including eligible non-credit Wyoming Works credentials). To renew: complete at least two-thirds of attempted credits each term, keep a 2.0 cumulative GPA (checked each spring) and meet the college's timely-completion criteria; failing these ends eligibility. Awards depend on endowment funding; renewing students get first preference, then students with an industry sponsorship; preference may also consider workforce needs, length of Wyoming residency, and students without a degree. Funding shortfalls are handled first-come, first-served by application date.
